Bluehost Web Hosting review from a user’s point of view

In this article, I will talk about my experience at Bluehost and the hosting service that they provide. I will be going over how well their technical support is and what kind of quality your website gets for the price. This review is from the eyes of a layman–so hopefully it will make it easier for you when you are choosing the best provider for your website.

First let me tell you exactly what Bluehost is and how it works

Bluehost is an international hosting company that has been around since 1996. Their headquarters is in Provo, Utah but they also have main offices in Austin Texas; Lehi, Utah; and Manila (Philippines). This means that if there ever was a problem at one data server they can redirect their traffic to another data server without losing time or money, which is one of the reasons they are able to offer great customer service.

Bluehost provides hosting services for websites, email, videos, and online applications with almost all of their plans having unlimited storage space, bandwidth, and subdomains. They also have around-the-clock support, automatic back-ups, and one-click installs for over 200 free open-source applications which include WordPress, Joomla, bluegill, etc.

Bluehost Hosting Plans and Features

They have various different hosting packages but shared hosting are broken into four categories: basic hosting plans for around $4.95 a month; Plus hosting plans for around $7.45 a month, and there is a check plus solutions package available for around also $7.45 a month which by the way is the most recommended plans among all.Lastly, Pro plans comes around $18.95 with free free dedicated IP.

They also have Dedicated hosting, where you can essentially become your own web host and sell hosting services to other people while using Bluehost as the back-end service provider. This is called “Hatchling,” and it has some great features like: unlimited email accounts, one-click install, and custom email addresses like “yourname@yourwebsite.tld.”

Bluehost also allows you to host unlimited domains (a website under a different name) on each plan which means that you can make 5 sites with their Hatchling package–for example: yourname.com; yourname.net; yourname.tv; yourname.org; and yourname.me.

All of their hosting plans include: unlimited storage, bandwidth, subdomains, email accounts, and they all come with a free domain name (for life) if you sign up for a two-year plan–which is the only way to get the domain name for free except basic package.

Bluehost offers both VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting and dedicated server hosting. However, the only difference between them is that you will get root access on a VPS hosting account while with dedicated servers you won’t get root access. You’ll have full control over everything

Bluehost also has a 30-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with their services.

Now that I have explained what Bluehost’s hosting service is all about, I can finally get started with my review. This article will be broken down into the following sections: technical support, website quality, and customer support. These three segments will help to tell you whether or not Bluehost is a good option for your website.
